Critical Mass!! Haven’t done this for ages. The last one I went on was probably in 2000, when I met up with Sheila at the pub afterwards.
(futurenote: This was to be the last time I was to go on CM with both S and K.)
I took a day off work to clear out our garage. It took me a couple of hours just to make a clear walkway through to the back of the garage. We've jammed it up with so much stuff over the years: a bed, cabinets, old bikes, armchairs, tools, a washing machine, etc.
There was a carpet of leaves to clear out, a load of stuff that our daughter had dumped in there over the past year which had to be sorted bagged or thrown out, and gooey stuff all over the washing machine. I had to keep washing my hands while cleaning it.
And today we went back to Borough Market. This time we spent quite a bit more money – vege, mutton, sausages, bacon, bread, catnip.
Joined Star Video on the way home, and got “Hypercube” out. It was odd that the first "Cube" finished unresolved, as if it would be picked up in a sequel, because the sequel started with an entirely new set of characters, and a new cube. It was alright, a bit too much CGI for my liking, but at least it ended properly. It turns out that the Cube is a military project, exists in multiple dimensions, and is a computer construct. S will be seeing the third Cube on Feb 4th.
